Privacy Policy

Overview

Proloca is designed so your trading journal stays under your control. This policy explains journal storage, iCloud sync, product analytics, subscriptions, notifications, exports and deletion.

Trading journal storage and iCloud

Your trades, notes, screenshots, accounts and settings are stored on your device and sync through private iCloud/CloudKit when iCloud is available. If iCloud is unavailable, Proloca continues to store data on your device. Apple processes iCloud data under your Apple account and its privacy terms.

We do not operate a broker data server and Proloca does not require your broker credentials.

Access protection

You may enable Face ID or Touch ID app access protection. A privacy cover can hide app content in the iOS app switcher when biometric protection is enabled. Device passcode fallback may be available after biometric lockout.

Product analytics and service data

Proloca uses product analytics and operational services to improve reliability, understand feature use, manage subscriptions and deliver notifications. These services can process device, app version, event and purchase status information.

• Adapty: subscription management and eligible offer presentation
• Apple App Store: downloads, purchases, subscriptions and refunds
• Push notification services: notifications you choose to enable
• Cloudflare: website delivery, security and newsletter processing

We do not send the contents of your trade notes, trade screenshots or journal entries to product or website analytics.

Newsletter

If you join the newsletter, we store the email address, consent time, page source and campaign fields needed to manage the subscription. You may unsubscribe at any time. The website always counts page views using PostHog cookieless analytics without cookies or browser storage. Before consent, and after a rejection, event properties are limited to the page path, language and country derived from the request IP address; person profiles, campaign identifiers and interaction events are disabled. PostHog processes request data to create a privacy-preserving identifier without storing it in your browser. If you allow detailed analytics, PostHog may use cookies and local storage to distinguish visits and receive page, campaign and selected interaction details. Session recording and advertising profiles remain disabled.

App Store refund requests

If you request an App Store refund, Proloca may share refund-related purchase and app usage information with Apple through Adapty to help Apple assess the request. This can include an anonymous installation identifier, time since installation, subscription or trial status, paid feature use, total spent, total refunded and related consumption information.

The contents of your journal, trade notes, trade history and financial entries are not shared with Apple for refund assessment.

Export and deletion

You can export journal data in CSV format. Proloca also provides granular deletion controls with a review of affected records. When iCloud sync is active, deleting synced data can remove it from connected devices. Export anything you need before deletion.

Children

Proloca is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
